John & I went to Las Vegas in May 2007.  We stayed 5 nights, before going to the Grand Canyon.  On our way to the Canyon, we stopped off at the Hoover Dam - like Vegas, created totally by man to serve man.  The Grand Canyon, on the other hand, is nature at her most awe-inspiring, at her most vast and expansive ... almost too much so to photograph (see what you think!).  On our way back to Vegas (and home), we stopped at the ancient Hopi pueblo at Wupatki - which dates back to 1100 ... almost unbelievably old for the United States!
